Project objective: Automate the loading, storage and picking of electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical parts required for complex equipment. Both for manufacturing BOMs (Bills of Materials) and the provision of spare parts.

BEFORE AUTOMATION
The entire process was manual before automation.
AFTER AUTOMATION
Around 15,000 SKUs are now stored in single item bins in the rBox together with their delivery note. The customer experienced immediate efficiency gains. Once automated, the process only requires a part time FTE. Incorrect picks have been eliminated. The area required is 70% less, freeing up much needed extra space.
